September 12 Bath Time for Fibre

After you spin fleece into yarn you need to set the twist.

I was told to try this technique so the yarn doesn’t lose its softness.

Once it dries, I will know if it worked…

July 5 Wheel

Spinning on a wheel today for the first time!

June 30 Tour de Fleece

today is the start of the Tour de France

I am participating in the Tour de Fleece

I’ll be spinning yarn while the cyclists spin their wheels through the French countryside

I track my progress on Ravelry.com (awesome fibre site)

although I’ll be spinning daily for the course of the tour, my photography will not reflect this

i’m sure you don’t want to see 3 weeks of spindles, fleece and yarn… (well, probably not most of you anyway)
